Indigo cotton dress

I love indigo because of its history and hand printed even more so. I bought this dress to wear at a summer outdoor wedding on a very hot day. It was very flattering and I felt very comfortable in it. The fabric did crock, but I then washed it in the washing machine, first soaking it in cold water and white vinegar for a half hour. After it did a spin dry, I washed it again with detergent, again in cold water. The rinse water was clear. After spinning it again, I hung it out on the clothesline. Its colors are still vibrant and it still fits very well. A lovely dress! Thank you to the sewers and the textile artists who created it and to those who grew the indigo to make the blue dye. I wear it with joy!

Indigo Cotton Blue Dress

The dress is well made. But the size is larger than declared and the color is not fixed on the fabric at all. After the first wear, the dress completely stained the skin. The dress sheds a lot of color when washed, I had to wash it many times.

Perfect dress

I love this dress! Cute and comfortable, it launders well (standard warm wash & dry) without shrinking or the color bleeding at all. Deep pockets and a great length for me (mid calf on my 5'2"). Cool & comfy in very hot weather, great with leggings or tights in cooler. I love this so much I've ordered 2 more in different colors/patterns.
